Dragons of Eason

 Dragons of Eason

Srens (Fire Dragons)

Country: Zerue

Capital City: Savan

Leader of Zerue: King Boedan

Zerue is the home for the srens and ruled by King Boedan. The capital is called Savan and it’s located in a desert, next an the ocean. There’s one main road that leads in and out of Savan to make transporting items easier. Savan is the only city that has walls as the walls symbolise the god of Aiedri. There are lookout towers along the side of the walls and within Savan, homes are large, square cobblestone buildings with chimneys, but few have windows.

Despite living in the desert and next to the ocean, their main food supply is cows and deer, thanks to the land they took from the lautni after the war of true blood. They use the greenery to create farms for their livestock, away from populated cities to avoid getting targeted by the enemy.

Zerue dragons often live in a monogamous relationship between two dragons of the opposite sex. Most of the time they have one or two children.

Zolts (Electric Dragons)

Country: Vaxiti

Capital City: Sacruva

Leader of Vaxiti: King Uvava

Vaxiti is the home of the zolts and is ruled by King Uvava. The capital of Vaxiti is Sacruva and it’s located next to the ocean. Sacruva has electricity and thus is more advanced than any other city. They have street lights and a watermill, and the buildings are made out of basalt and are tall and square.

Even though they live next to the ocean, their main supply of food comes from insects. They discovered maintaining an insect farm was easier and took up less space than a farm of cows or deer.

Vaxiti dragons often live in a monogamous relationship with one to two children. They tend to only get into relationships with those who are of either similar in intelligence or speed. If a child doesn’t show great traits of becoming like their parents, the child is often tossed out of the family. The wealth of money isn’t seen as valuable in Vaxiti compared to the wealth of knowledge. If you’re able to create something life-changing you would be considered rich.

Kelas (Earth Dragons)

Country: Andaheer

No Capital City

Leader of Andaheer: King Zamthic

(Princess Elsuina: Art by Mollin)

Andaheer is the home of the kelas dragons and is ruled by King Zamthic. There are no cities in Andahher as they all live in trees. Andaheer is a massive forest with trees that block out the sun, which causes some parts of the ground to have dead grass. The tallest trees are the heart of the country where the royal family lives. A single tree can hold a single family, or multiple depending on the size of the families and the trees. The base of the trees is for the elderly, eggs, or newly hatched dragons. The upper part of the trees is mainly for the children while everything in between is for everyone else.

Kelas dragons prefer to eat food that was grown by them such as fruit and veggies, but they can eat meat from the deer that resides in their forest.

The dragons of Andaheer believe that reproduction is the natural order of the world and therefore are often in monogamous relationships that can support this. They tend to have only one child so they can focus all of their time and energy on nurturing and helping it grow. Despite this Andaheer does have a village-type mindset, and it’s not surprising to see different families live very close to each other in different trees.

Anher (Wind Dragons)

Country: Gangen

Capital City: Unkown

Leader of Gangen: Kind Edron

(Fenzuth: Art by Mollin)

Gangen is the home of the anhers and is ruled by King Edron. The country of Gangen is mostly open plains which makes flying around easier. Their main source of food is fish.

Gangen dragons live in either monogamous or open relationships. They prefer to have large families of their own, not so much merging together so it’s very normal for a dragon of two to create ten-plus children. This does mean not everyone in the family gets looked after which has resulted in many infighting among family members.
